Help...SP4 Type Cover won't type!

My type cover won't type. The track pad works on it. I took it to MS store, they gave me a new one. Then it worked for a week and acted up again recently. I took it in and they gave me a brand new SP4 ☺ . It worked when I was in the store and then stopped working an hour later when I left.

Any solutions? I'm thinking it's a setting cause the back lights come on and the track pad works.

have you tried removing it and then connecting it back?

And are you using the device in tablet mode or desktop mode?

You might also want to show the problem at the store since you've been there a couple of times

FYI- The problem is fixed. It was the strict key option in the settings that got turned on. VERY Annoying.

The good news however through all of it is that I ended up getting a new Surface device and a new type cover. ☺

And what is strict key? Where is it in settings?

I really don't know what it is...all I know is it stops your keys from working.
