A year ago I set one drive to sync to my micro SD card on a.Surface 3. Now I get error messages that the target location isn't NTFS. So how did it work before and can I send it to sd card again?

As far as i know, One drive location can be moved to sd card only if the format is NTFS. I suggest you to backup every of your data and then format it to NTFS. Try to move the location to sd card and see if its worked.

This just happened to me today as well. Cheap tablet but had been working fine.
