Windows 10 shuts down after being in sleep mode for more than two hours

[Windows Central Question]

Windows 10, lenovo thinkpad x230i (but i have seen this problem in many other brand computers). When i put my computer to sleep after a while (more than 2 or 3 hours to be exact) the computer just shuts down. It doesn't happen if i wake up the computer after lets say an hour but for example, when i come back to it in the morning it is just off. completely. When i tried googling it i saw only 2015 december- 2016 spring forums. Yes i tried trouble shooting the power ("no problems detected" every time), tried resetting the "what closing the lid does" settings and many more little things (like. rolling back/disabling " Intel Management Engine Interface" driver). This problem started around 4 months ago and it's starting to get very annoying as anything that was open looses any unsaved data.

Try updating Windows with latest updates.
If problem persists, I would definitely reinstall Windows. No other solution, though.
