How to enable the network system icon? It is greyed out

So I was working on my Toshiba Satellite B-40 A a few days before. After waking up the next day, I discovered that the wifi icon was missing from the taskbar. Upon further research, I found out that the system icon appearance for network was greyed out. How to fix this?
