If you buy a game from the Xbox store online do you keep it forever?

I have like 5 games that are really expensive and if I had to restart my Xbox for some reason do I still have the games even if it's not a disc game?
Like does the account that bought it keep it, If I sign into a new Xbox do I get the games there without having to pay for it?

The games are attached to your account, you can move them to another Xbox, or uninstall them and download them again later.

Microsoft would have to stop supporting Xbox, or go out of business completely for the games to no longer be available.
