Just to clarify, I'm attempting this via onedrive.live.com.
I'd like to give a user view-access on the root folder and edit access over a certain sub-folder. If I change a user's permission on a sub-folder to 'edit' access, it also erroneously changes their permission on the root folder to edit (and all other sub-folders/files).
The other method I've tried is adding the user to a sub-folder a second time but with edit access. This also changes the other entry's access to edit, meaning that the issue is still present.
How can I change a single user's permissions on different folders?
