Will Windows Mixed Reality apps work on the HoloLens?

Now that Windows Mixed Reality headsets will be released soon with some interested launch games/apps like Halo Recruit, I would like to know if it's possible to run WMR apps and games on the HoloLens since I already have one. The HoloLens supposedly runs on the same Windows Mixed Reality platform and shares the same UI too. I know the HoloLens is way below the minimum requirements for Windows Mixed Reality headsets on Windows 10 PC's, but they're supposed to be able to share apps. Plus some HoloLens apps are already confirmed to work for WMR but I haven't heard anything about the reverse yet. I'm really looking forward to trying out Halo Recruit but I'm hoping I can use my HoloLens for that instead.
