Will Spotify support Microsoft accounts?

With the "wonderful" decision to sunset the Groove Music Pass and the announcement to partner with Spotify, I was wondering if there is any indication that Spotify will support Microsoft accounts with their service.

You can not transfer your Groove Music Pass account to Spotify. If you currently have Groove Pass you will be able to move your downloaded music that you downloaded from Groove Music Pass (if you sign up to Spotify) and playlists to Spotify.
