How to get computer back to life?

[Windows Central Question]

Win 10 64 bit system, HP AIO. Crashed while in Startup Repair. Started computer up again and saw blank screen with only a flashing cursor and no bios, boot or post. Cannot get into windows 10 at all. Recovery disks done by seller are faulty, keeps asking for Disk 2 so cannot use to recover computer. Any ideas please. Win 7 pre-installed then upgraded to Win 10 in July 2015. Thanks, Elaine

...and if all this fails grab a download CD for Linux Mint and see if that installs. If you've gotten to the asking for disk 2 portion of the recovery it is likely that the drive has been reformatted and the data on it already wiped.
