This didn't work for me before, but I just now did a search for "Continuum" in the Store and it brought hundreds of apps that are compliant with it.

Apps (185)
Games (375)

Great find! Although it doesn't show all Continuum compatible apps and games. But it's a start. :)

I've seen many references to MyTube being supported by Continuum but it's a grey out mess on my 950. Perfect Tube does work and very well. The latest version of Facebook displays in landscape, but it's portrait mode rotated 90 degrees to the left.

The above was on Aug 25.

Now on Oct 21.

Apps (203)
Games (364)

Number of Apps increased while number of games reduced slightly. Total still up, now 569 apps.

When I did this search on my phone, the Apps would come up, but no games were listed. Had to specifically select games after searching to get the list.
Edit: And scrolling through that list, roughly half are 'pro' or 'deluxe' versions of free versions also in the list. It also seems like each game has several iterations of the same theme. I found 5 or 6 tank games that all had the exact same screenshots and were from the same developer. Seems like the 300+ games is more like 30ish actually different or unique games. *Sigh* Not saying those are worth anything, either.
Didn't see WoT Blitz on the list either. MS needs a checkbox for Continuum urgently.
EDIT: Also, Microsoft has a 'Collection' for continuum capable apps, but only shows 26 on that list. :( MS is really dropping the ball on what they say is the next big thing in computing...

It'd be nice if they could weed out all those duplicates. I'd prefer quality over quantity. And honestly, at this point, the numbers game isn't worth fighting to begin with. Might as well just try to win out in quality.

I agree, these are all spam games that put continuum in their name just to match on the search. MS shouldn't allow any continuum words in the name. And these spam games need to be removed. It's all garbage.

Disney Emoji blitz supports continuum and it's awesome but doesn't even show up in the search. A lot of the best ones don't. MS needs to do a lot of things lol. The store should be a pretty high priority focus because users generally don't follow up after first impressions are bad. At least focus on the desktop one and get it together there.

There are plenty more, but it is easy to forget to add them to the list. I just started looking for apps that specifically work in continuum to replace ones that don't. little things like a battery app, started to download a bunch and see which ones open. I saved a couple but deleted others, forgot to add them to the list.

Are there really no alternatives to the Office apps from Microsoft? I dont´t like the idea of the Office365-subscription, so I´m looking for a substitute for Word and Excel. So far I only found these two continuum-supporting apps:

- Nextpad: the best "Notepad"-app I found, but still far from being as powerful as Word
- NumberEditor: has all basic functions for editing spreadsheets, but has some glitches in continuum-mode

Did anyone found something better?

To add to the list: Grover Pro is a great UWP podcast app.

I concur with the quality of Grover Pro. A great UWP podcast app and I believe its now supported on Xbox One as well. So you can have it on PC, Mobile, or Xbox at least. And its syncing between devices is pretty good too.
