Since the last two weeks my Lumia 730 DS (India) has been rebooting randomly if I turn on Cortana.
I don't even have to use it, I just have to enable it in the settings. If it is enabled the phone would freeze if I try unlocking it or using it for some time.
When Cortana is disabled this issue cannot be reproduced.

I have tried:
1. Removing all SD cards.
2. Using only a single *** (both cut and uncut).
3. Using WiFi instead of cellular data.
4. Hard resets.
5. Soft resets.

Any help or if someone else is facing the issue, please share a screenshot of your About.

Mine is...
OS: 10.0.12534.59 (Was facing the issue on Windows 8.1 Denim too!!!)
Firmware: 02040.00021.15063.02004
Hardware Revision: 3.0.0.0

Share your Lumia 730 info even if you don't have the issue. Will help me isolate the problem.

Difficult to say what this could be.
Did the phone act like this from day one?

I'd try disabling Cortana from running in the background thru battery saver.

Let's move this to the 730\735 section maybe someone has a solid answer.

I did manage to isolate the problem to the SD Card. It is an old class 4 card. 4GB by SanDisk. It works just fine if I don't have too much data. I guess it crashes during indexing the card's contents at a slow speed.

I'll have to get my hands on a faster card to be really sure. My Lumia 520 was stolen 2 months ago with the 64GB SanDisk Extreme in it. :(

Thanks for the help Guytronic.

Hey, i got a class 10 and 32 go memory card and still have the reboot issue... my lumia 730 is only 2 months old !

Could you please try and see what happens if you remove the memory card. It works perfectly for me that way. I'll be taking my phone to a Nokia Care centre this month after my exams end.

And if possible could you send a screenshot of the 'about' page of your phone with the OS version, build number, Hardware revision number etc.
