How to enable missed call notifiaction in Windows 10 ?

I recently installed the Windows 10 November update and enabled Missed Call Notifications in Cortana settings. I own a Nokia Lumia 730 which runs on WP 8.1. I tried the new feature but I did not receive any notification on my laptop.

Is this available only if both these run Windows 10 and Windows 10 mobile resp.

Honestly.. I am not sure..

But i'm going to take a wild guess and say "Yes. Your phone will need windows 10 as well"

You need W10M to use this feature as well as for sending text messages

Specify, phone must be on build 10581 or later, PC on 10586 or later.

You should use the same MS account on both devices... Go to Cortana settings on PC and enable that feature

My understanding is it needs to be enabled in Cortana settings on the PC and the phone. YMMV

Works for me on my Samsung S5 Active with the Arrow Launcher... Running Android OS on phone and W10 on the laptop...
