Cortana on Lumia 830 no longer recording voice after recent preview update. How can I get it working?

Cortana on Lumia 830 no longer recording voice after recent preview update.

Cortana no longer accepts voice commands. It says it is listening but records nothing.
I noticed it following the last preview update.
I restored phone using the restore tool (which update firmware as well) to Windows 8.1 then updated to windows 10 preview Insider Release Preview ring.

It still does not listen.

Hi,

Did you get any solution to your Cortana problem. Actually i'm also facing he same issue in my Lumia 730. Cortana opens up, but does not listen (nothing happens after i click the mic symbol). Also it doesnot give voice response.
However, written commands get processed.
