Full Sunlight Readability Test

I put the Moly W5 head-to-head against a Lumia 1520 and took them out in the full afternoon sunlight.

The Lumia 1520 has a crystal clear tempered glass screen protector on it, the Moly W5 is naked. I took the pictures with a 14MP Olympus SP-810UZ digital camera and cropped the photos with Office Picture Manager 2007. I labeled them in Paint. Otherwise the pics are not touched.

Thanks Rumourednow for taken the time out to do this test as I am sure many would appreciate the comparison .).

One quick question, what was the brightness set to Auto + low or?

Good question.

In settings > display > the brightness slider was at 100% for both. Moly doesn't have brightness profile, but on the 1520 it is maxed out for brightest. Both phones were also set for Automatic.

This is very interesting. Thanks for doing this. I am surprised that the Moly W5 isn't far behind from the 1520 when it comes to sunlight readability.
