DVP8 update to 10162?

Hey has anyone been successful installing 10162? It doesn't come up as an option to install through auto updates.

I haven't actually installed it yet, but it is showing up for me and is downloading right now.​

It's running on mine very well. Installation was smooth as butter from 130 to 158 to 159 and now to 162.

Installed it on mine as well. First preview build I had the guts to try on my Venue pro 8. Was very impressed with it on my laptop, so I decided to try it out. It runs very well. No driver issues or anything (I upgraded from Win 8.1, didn't fresh install). It didn't 'wow me' in terms of tablet usage vs. my iPad - you can't compare the two like that, but it runs very well. It made me cross my fingers that MS will put out a small 8'ish inch Lumia tablet (what happened to the Mini ...?) - I have money to spend if they do. I am already on board the Surface 3 bandwagon, so in my book MS is doing a lot of things right these days.

I'm considering installing the 10162 ISO on my dvp8. Any pros and cons regarding installing the 64bit version versus the 32bit version?

I updated to 10162 today, very performant.

Jrow1296: I originally upgraded to 10130 by way of 10074. I had issues trying to rollback to 8.1 from 10130. I went with 32bit to squeeze more performance out of it.

Just installed it on mine and each time the screen shuts off, I can't get it back to show up. I'll lock it on and off and just seeing black. Hard reset and a login and I'm okay... UNTIL it goes to sleep!

I'm curious if I install the 64bit version of 10162 will I get the 64bit version of the finalized Windows 10 even if I have a valid 32bit version of Windows 8.1?

I had thought the Atom processors were 32 bit. But don't hold me to that.

I just installed the update from Win 8.1 to Win 10. Sadly it installed Ver 10130. This version is quite buggy in tablet mode. I have tried update checking several times. No new versions. Does anybody know how long it takes for the 10162 version to show up as an update?
