I was at my local Microsoft store today and was told that I would be able to get a replacement phone next week sometime. They were not sure when it would be but basically they expected to replace all 10 units that they had sold on the 8th.
I gave them my contact info and was told that they would be calling me as soon as they got the new units in stock. Seemed like the next shipment was going to be just for replacement. He also mentioned that everyone would also be getting another Zune pass card (I heard it was a year this time).
So far I am happy with my unit. Nothing that is bothering me is hardware related really. Luckly I do not have the WiFi issue in my unit just the engineering sample battery. Anyone else hear anything?
