I've never developed an app before for any device. I've recently got a Lumia 920 and thought I might as well try (Student so all the software and registration is free).

I chose C# route as I've only used Java before and it seemed the best route with only WP in mind. I thought I would start with something simple (an rss reader) but I can't seem to find any good tutorials any wondered if anyone else had found any?

I've got my main page UI setup just don't really know where to go from there.

    Thanks, Rob.

MSDN is probably going to be your first port of call, they have a vast amount of resources including code snippets and samples, one in particular should be helpful for your particular requirement :-

How to create a basic RSS reader for Windows Phone

    Hope this helps.

You can check with the Microsoft Virtual Academy (MVA), they have great resources on phone app development. The courses at MVA are taught by Microsoft experts for free.
