Found! Ad Blocking app on Edge & IE 11 which works.

How about Microsoft get their collective "you know what" together and just implement whatever they have in IE into Edge. Works great on IE. Gained a lot of battery life, and speed. Edge is slow, full of ads and eats batteries for breakfast.

That part alone tells me you have no idea what you're talking about. Edge isn't "full of ads" that's the web pages you're browsing.

Frankly, I don't know what a host file is, and I don't want to mess with it. I want ad block or similar back in an easy to download manner, not something for nerds. This whole edge thing may fail because people like me are sick and tired of pop ups. What was MS thinking (don't tell me reading mode, you don't get comments on reading mode)
