Missing Favorites - New storage location?

Ever since an update in October, I've been missing favorites that were imported from IE. Hitting the import button does not grab the missing ones. Also, it looks as though favorites are not stored in the usual location any more. My guess is this all happened once Favorite syncing was added. Where are these saved now? I'd like to manually copy over my favs from IE if possible.

Extremely annoying that there is no way to clear and re-import favs in this build yet. I hope there is a manual way to accomplish this, as my favs list are mess right now because of this.

You only need to put the favorites on Users/Favorites and click import on Edge. it should import everything that is not added already on your favorite list, and everything should be okay.

that's the only solution, now edge works different, if you have sync on you will see .json files been written here

If you open those files you will notice the favorite's name and info, it's not a bad thing. but when you don't have synching on, I don't have idea where they go.
I guess they are added to spartan.edb because edb.log registers the changes when you add favorites. well I deleted edb.log and lost all my favorites so whatever Edge uses now it's a mix of alot of files that are not really editable.

But what i did it's to copy the favorites from: %localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\MicrosoftEdge\User\Default\Favorites

put it on my user/favorites and import it and everything was there as I had it (since I didn't add any new favorite since TH2).
