I'm a former amateur boxer and coach. I own & operate BOXING 4 FREE. Besides being a boxing fan, I am a Windows Phone & Metro-design fan. I've incorporated some metro into my site.

However, I want to do more. Do you guys & gals have some ideas on what else I can do to "metrofy" my site? I'm open to all thoughts and opinions.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. still sporting a Dell Venue Pro... just can't let go.

Change the font to something more Metro?
Get rid of the chrome in the top portion?
Change the design of some site navigation buttons?

Those would make the site more Metro, and that's just the start.

See the now famous jQuery plug-ins from David DeSandro Masonry and Isotope which can be easily custmised. Best about them: fully responsive to browser window size. Displays correct on smartphones and tablets as well. Check out the many sample sites using it.

Those plug-ins are VERY nice, but I don't know too much about backend stuff like jQuery or PHP or any of that stuff. I DO know that my jQuery is out-of-date as is everything else. The person I hired designed the site from a template then said "see ya!". The things I've been doing to give it a metro-look has only been done in the past year and most of it was simple drop & place.
