It seems low end strategy works

Ok let's start with the fact that I live in Indonesia and it's capital city Jakarta.
I'm a college student. Thanks to the crazy traffic in Jakarta. I'm forced to use public transportation which is really crowded. Because of that (most likely because I'm really bored) I'm start observing ppl phone these days


In past I rarely seen anyone with windows phone. Even if I see one most likely because of the Nokia not a windows phone.

In past 5 months I see lot of WP around. They all Lumia phone. Most of them using 520 630 920 625 1020.
As soon as 535 launch their number jump like rocket. Some ppl even ask to me whether Nokia made windows phone. They just know Microsoft Lumia.

Thanks to it I hope market share will grow. Which attracts more apps.

Kebanyakan emang pake Lumia karena namanya Nokia sih

Tapi gw baru tau itu ada yang nanya bahwa apakah Nokia bikin WP, padahal jelas dlu nama Lumia dari Nokia

Keliatannya strategi MS berhasil sih buat menjadikan nama Lumia lekat sama Microsoft

I think it's indeed most people here use Lumia because Nokia brand (at least pre 535)

But it's quite unique that some people ask whether Nokia made Lumia phones or not, lol

I'm quite positive the market will grow, MS also made effort by unified ecosystem

Hope it will pay off
