Opinion on a new windows 8 tablet.

Hello, I am thinking of getting a tablet with full windows 8 on it. I don't have much knowledge into choices for tablets. If anyone could make any recommendations I'd appreciate it. With everything I've read so far I seem to find other recommending to wait until the new Intel atom chips are used, also what would you say? to wait or get one now? Thank you.

I don't think you'd get a Pro for that (used maybe). And the RT is good if all the functionality you need is within Office, the browser, and whatever apps come in the Store (i.e. Metro apps). Note that an RT will not run any random x86/x64 executable, but a full Win8 tablet will. You should wait.

Ok I'll wait for the next gen atom models. Just what manufacturer should I look toward most? In terms of tablet build quality?

I would say Lenovo, Dell for build and Acer for value. You will be able to get a better idea of what to get when Bay Trail devices are announced.
