I want to get the Surface Pro. It will be a nice upgrade to my current HP laptop. I'll have to order it online, since there are no Microsoft stores where I live.

It's the first tablet I've seriously considered, since it runs full desktop Windows, not a mobile version of an OS like the iPad or the Android tablets.

Well I already got 100 people interested in the surface. And I stopped 20 people from getting the iPad .

I got my cousin and two of my friends interested so far. My cousin is due for a laptop upgrade like me. My friends don't own tablets yet.

Absolutely not. There is no one device that fits everyone. I think the surface looks great. I want one. Lots of others should get one. My father in law would hate it. He needs something much more powerful for his video production.

Buying today, I would buy an iPad (already own one). After W8/Surface release I would go for that, or a Nokia tab
