Agreed, When you can get a Windows 8 Pro tablet (not a Surface Pro) for around $500-600 new when they are on sale, RT tablets should be around $300ish. That is the good price range for it.

I picked up a used Samsung Slate 7 with a i5 intel, 4gb and 64gb ssd for under $350 with Windows 8 pro on it, I never was crazy about Windows 8 but, on a tablet, I love it...Still hate it on my Desktop with a keyboard and mouse.

I picked on up on Craigslist for $150....then bricked it putting 8.1 preview on there. You guys be careful. Dell is sending me on another with a 5 day turnaround since it has happening to most everyone that tries the preview.

Yeah I read that there the day it happened actually, and I'm confident that it would work. However when I bought my tablet, it was used and did not come with the USB dongle.

Great instructions that I am sure are very accurate. Either way- my xps went out today and I should get it back Saturday hopefully.

Now the only question is if I will try to get 8.1 again......
