Headphone jack faulty?

Hey guys, just recently sound from my headphones in my Surface only comes trough the right ear bud. The pair I use works fine on my Lumia so I'm guessing it's the Surface jack. Any suggestions?

Yeah I've tried a different pair of headphones and I get the same results.

Ok, then it's probably a hardware issue. You could try a refresh, and if that doesn't help, I should contact MS

I'm having the same trouble except for the fact that I can hear it only in the left bud. But restarting the phone seems to temporarily solve the glitch. Although it is really frustrating to restart the device every other day.
Did you get it fixed yet? Any idea what the problem is?

I have the exact same glitch on my Lumia 520? And no, I haven't sent my Surface off yet.
