I probably should have posted here last night instead of in the W510 subforum, but I'll give it a go here. I'm looking for a convertible - something with a removable keyboard or a keyboard that somehow flips out of the way to let you use the PC as a tablet. I'm limited on funds, as I just learned that my wife will be needing to have surgery in a few weeks, so I'm looking toward the Atom processors. I'm not looking for a daily driver, just something that will run Visual Studio on those occasions when I leave the house (taking the computer to user groups, occasionally to use while I'm at work and bored with nothing to do so I take out my own PC and do something). My laptop is already as powerful as I need, with an i7, 8GB and a touchscreen - I just want something more portable, and the laptop will become my desktop, as I already use it with two external monitors.
If you've used an Atom-powered PC with Visual Studio, I'd appreciate your feedback. Thanks!
