Windows 8 Tablets Enjoying 15% Market Share in Japan...due to KanColle!

You heard that right, people. The reason behind Windows tablets being a tremendous success in Japan...stems to a browser game named Kantai Collection.
Apparently, Windows is the preferred platform for the game (largely due to Flash support), which has an active user base of 1.7 million.

Considering how many doujins I've been seeing lately for KanColle, I'm not surprised that this rose the same way that Touhou did.

I still find it amazing that Windows tablets are popular because of a game based off warships-turned-cute girls.

I'm sorry, but that's so full of win. Granted, KanColle developers only allow access from desktop PCs as opposed to mobile web browsers.

Now, if only someone can tell me how Osu! works on Baytrail devices, I'll be so sold on Windows.
