Can you cast a tab from Chrome on a Windows 8 tablet?

I need a new tablet and want one that runs non RT 8.1. A very question I have is if any one has tried to cast a tab from the chrome browser in desktop mode. I'm afraid that if won't be powerful enough and before I spend a bunch of money and to make sure that it could do that. Otherwise I'd just go for a surface or Lumia 2520.

If you are trying to use chrome cast to cast your tab from chrome , yes you will be able to. Just download the latest google chrome from internet explorer and download it. Sign in with your google id and connect your chrome cast to the device. Now you will be able to beam chrome on another device from your tablet (I just ordered acre iconia w4 64GB) , windows rt won't be able to run chrome at moment. :smile:
