Hi.
I have a Lenovo Lynx K3011 Windows tablet with windows 8.1 and I can not complain about it, just awesome!

But today I receive a message from windows update so after download the updates I reset my tablet, after that the touch screen doesn't work, so I cannot use the tablet. I try turning on and off, but still doesn't work. I am wondering if is a hardware problem or an update problem.

Did you have the same problem?

Yup I have seen this on my Lenovo flex 10 (with recent windows updates ). Go to device manager/Human Interface Devices/right clock on the touchscreen(HID complaint touchscreen)-clock on disable and then again right on the same/enable. You may need to attach a keyboard/mouse to do this.

Thanks a lot.
But still I have the problem, I also reinstall all drivers, but nothing.

I did a restore point and while was doing back, error crash happens, at that time I could touch the screen and appears like it was working, but after reset again with the problem.

That sucks. Why not backup all your data and try refresh your PC / or any other recovery options available ?

I am doing a refresh, the bad think is mean that I will go back to windows 8 and have to install all updates again to 8.1

I hope than this works

Good luck  I hope your issue get resolved.
Now is worst!
The refresh doesnt work, so I did a factory reset. Now there is no devices HID complaint touchscreen!!!!
But on PC info it says than there is a Touch Support.

I dont know what to do now!

Very strange. If the tablet is still under warranty , take it to the nearest Lenovo care centre. They might be able to rectify the issue :)

whoop glad your tablet touchscreen is working once again :)

And again! I can not use the touch screen.... I don't know, happens when I decide to upgrade from w8 to 8.1

Same problem with my HP Pavilion Laptop...HP advised me that Microsoft and HP were working on an update to the drivers. This could be the same problem for you. Check with the Laptop manufacturer. I have reverted back to 8.1 and the touchscreen works again.
