How do you turn on wifi tethering from the device? Is it really hard create a wireless hotspot?

First off, what mobile device are you using, sir? Android, iphone, or windows phone? (Or blackberry?)

Yes i want the dell venue pro to be the hotspot. I got the version with sim card slot and it works perfectly but in w8.1 i cant seem to find the option for tethering like in android. I could install connectify but i need to pay for it.

I'm using this software but with LAN netwok.
try it and tell if it will work with 3G or like that.
