Charging and USB data on 8" tablets

Has anyone found a cable that allows you to charge an 8" tablet from it's microusb port while still being able to use the USB port to plug in accessories or flash drives. My wife really wants an 8" windows tablet (she's leaning towards the vivotab note 8) but they almost exclusively come with one micro USB port that is for charging and data but doesn't allow a y cable to do both at the same time.

I was just wondering if anyone found a solution to this problem yet. One that doesn't involve me learning to make my own cable. I found this but I don't know if it would work with a vivotab or even a venue pro.

Yup, the product you've linked is indeed compatible with the Dell Venue 8 Pro. I'm not sure if it's compatible with others, though.

Well my sister-in-law has the venue pro maybe I'll get that for her and borrow it to test it out on the vivotab too. I assume it would work with no issues.
