Do your surface 3 have this problem?

I knew i shouldnt do this, but when i wanted to plug in power cables to my surface 3, and i accidentally touched the cable to display or usb port, my surface 3 crashed. Usually happens in the dark. When all the lights closed since i cant really see where the socket is.

My question is,is this normal. Or, it never happen to any of yours?

The same thing happened on my lenovo laptop.

It's not a Surface... I get it. I don't have one, but I believe this is the problem.


I believe something is shorting out when you place your finger on it. The computer takes action by shutting everything down on the device to prevent damage.

Guessing a shortage too. But i never thought this could even happen at the first place. Have be careful. Or else i might lose working files unsaved or anything
