I haven't heard of the HP Pro Tablet 608 either. It actually doesn't look that bad. It's quite surprising that more mainstream tech sites aren't talking about the multitude of Windows tablets out there. It goes to show how much the iPad, Android brand, and Surface tablets soak up the limelight. Though, to be fair, it could also be an issue of HP not sending out enough review units.
I do wish there was more quality 8-inch Windows tablets in the $200-$300 range. I just recently bought the 8-inch Yoga 2 from Lenovo and before that I owned a 8-inch Toshiba Encore 2. The size is just right for casually browsing on the couch.
