I'm wondering if anyone knows of an app for Windows convertibles (either a store app or an executable) that can function as a physical means of deterrence from device theft-essentially, when the device owner or other authorized user leaves their laptop in a cafe to go to the restroom or pickup their drink, they hit something on the device (perhaps a keyboard shortcut), and if anyone physically moves the device, the accelerometer detects the motion and starts a 10 second countdown. If, at the end of 10 seconds, the user doesn't enter the password or otherwise prove their identity through Windows Hello, the device makes an extremely loud noise bringing attention to the fact that it is being stolen.
