Changed my mind, I'm getting an 8S

@:18 he says, "There isn't a front facing camera."

Granted it's hard to understand what he's saying because he mumbled so bad.

You were right the HTC team had some problem i think i mailed them once again and this tym they said that it is not having a ffc....................finally confirmed..............and now m really gonna miss this beauty because i badly use the ffc for cam to cam on skype, tango and by our network provider..........:( bye bye 8S.....

I hate the two tone look but think no FFC will doom the device. The 8x is the HTC to get.

Sent from my mwp6985 using Board Express

If it had a FFC and came in at the right price point ($250-$275 CAD SIM-free) I'd buy it in a heartbeat, in spite of promising my self I'd never buy another HTC product.

So what carriers is the 8S going to be on anyhow?

I have a friend who want's to try WP but she's petite and anything with more than a 4" screen is too big for her hands. Plus girl pockets.

The 8S is a basic WP8... I have one as a (guest) phone. I often get foreign guests and their phones don't work here, so my 8S has a prepaid... Should be great for basic stuff. Yes... Memory is limited. But the price is good and I find the looks fantastic. Sure enough, my 8X is more potent... but I don't need a 8X for guests... to use once in a while. Here is a pic of mine... will put it into service tonight.

My 8S is up and running now and provides some excellent battery performance, decent speed and I was able to install the map of Switzerland and a bunch of free apps. This little phone is perfectly good, much better than what you expect at first!
