Why do I get the error: 0x80188308 on HTC 8S, when I try to install the latest DEV Preview?

cannot install latest dev preview error: 0x80188308 on HTC 8S

anyone as the answer for that problem?
i tried adding an fresh 8GB sd card ( in case it was memory related)

phone is currently running: OS version 8.10.14203.306 (windows phone 8.1 update)

How much free space does your phone have?

You might want to free up some space. Also i would suggest performing a IE cache clean and WindowsCentral app cache cleanup along with deleting temp files from storage sense to gain back some additional space

Did you try doing a soft reset, or even a hard reset before updating?

I have the same problem. Even resetting my phone (without restoring a backup) didn't resolve this.

If it makes you feel any better, my 8XT will not update to the offical release...getting the same error...and I have 2.3 GB of space free.
