It being end of line and not inline made me think it was like the Charm.

It looks detachable. I wonder if it plugs into headphone port to control music? Can still output to speaker on phone or speaker on (dock, Amp, Car, etc.) and that is just a controller. Hmmm...

This is a bluetooth dongle. You plug your headphones into it instead of your phone. Stick this in your pocket and put your phone in your purse or back pack.
