So, I do not know if HTC 8X have MHL (a combined microusb and hdmi connector). Many other Android phones have that and it would be interesting if some one could test their HTC 8X and hook it up with the TV with HDMI to see if screen is shared.

I know Lumia 920 does not have it and I wonder if it is a hardware or software limitation.

    Thanks!

I don't think so because someone also asked if the Nokia Lumia 920 and Windows Phone 8 support MHL on here: DLNA, MHL and USB on the go support - Lumia 920 - Microsoft Community and the guy said nope.

I've searched other sites regarding this. Nothing definitive. I'm looking at buying an MHL adapter for HTC that supposedly works with the 8X. I guess that'll be the only way to find out for sure.

If someone else has already tested, please share!

snapdragon s4 has the hardware but windows phone 8 itself does not support it (yet) the only supported video out was the usb video out and only available on microsoft presentation devices which are basically super unlocked. becareful of online stores that sells these mhl cable and label tham as compatible with ANY wp8 devices. they jusr want to make profit. and just to be sure i have tested with an mhl adapter. does not work. mhl adapters are
