Does anybody know if you can go into Walmart and purchase a contract free HTC 8x through T-Mobile? I have the $30 pre-paid plan and want to pick up an 8x to use it with.
    Thanks

Yes, you can! Of course they cost more off-contract, but Walmart is one of the few resellers that doesn't try to gouge you by charging more than retail (like Best Buy does).

It's cheaper on Newegg, just FYI, I'm doing the same thing and thought you'd want to know.

I don't see it at NewEgg.

If you're looking for unlocked it's not at walmart either. Anyway:

    Windows Phone 8X by HTC Blue 4G for T-Mobile - Newegg.com
Click replacement device aka off contract its 555.98 off contract with shipping included

Windows Phone 8X by HTC Blue 4G for T-Mobile - Walmart Wireless
    It's 575.99 at walmart.

So if you want to just drive to wally world and pay 20$ more you can likely get it asap, but if you have time to wait newegg will save you 20$ which is enough to buy you a few screen protectors and a decent case.
