Fyi - saw the HTC 8x for $1 on contract today at Best Buy - AT&T

I have a pic - will upload when I get to a PC (unless I can figure out how to add it via the WP Central app first)

Edit: I've sent the pic to wpcentral for now - but will add it later here ...

In NYC they have the 8x for FREE. i have the 920 but had another line available for upgrade so I got the 8x to try it out. The 8x pales in comparison. There is NO way I could possibly go from the 920 to this even if it's just to switch up devices for something different. the screen, the Nokia apps, the feel of the 920 has spoiled me. I thing the 8x is a great windows phone for someone who has never experienced the 920 nor the 900 for that matter. But for a Lumia lover since 900's day one, it just doesn't cut it. Needless to say I will be returning this FREE phone back to Best Buy after work one day this week. LOL.

The deal is for AT&T, not VZW. It is $99 with VZW.

That's true. But it's still $100 less than buying it right from VZW.

I'm waiting for the red version to go on sale on Best Buy. Currently it just says "coming soon" on their website right now.
