Strange ringing tone....

Hi all.,

When charging my 8X it makes the usual "ding" when it begins charging. However occasionally when I press the power/lock button to check the phone for messages etc, it makes "rings"at me. It did this repeatedly this evening. The phone seems to be working fine, calls, texts, nokia drive all been used regularly over the last few days with no issues to flag.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them and whether anyone knows what it might be?

Are you sure its not cause your power cable is starting to fail and everytime you hit the power button you end up moving the device and it becomes disconnected then reconnected again? Lol cause that's happened to me many times!

yes please do that! even if you cant do that, could you at least tell us which beep it is? is it the charging beep? sms beep? mms beep? facebook notification beep? lol
