New owner of an amazing 8x on t-mobile! I am headed to college next year in Worcester, MA and just wanted to hear how the phone does in speed tests around the US on H+ and LTE.

    I'll start it off:
    San Diego, CA
    download: 15.25 mbps
    upload: 1.68 mbps

Just thought it would be cool to see how fast others are running on their networks.

I get anywhere from 5 - 10 Mbs down and 1.3-3.5 Mps up in Lubbock,TX. I think it's pretty cool been able to watch full Netflix videos thinking I had WiFi on. Also when I had the HD7 I wouldn't get more than 3-5 Mbs down.

While on local WiFi I am getting 24.6 down and 11.8 up, and on Verizon 4G in Seattle, getting 5.3 down and 6.5 up. Not too shabby.

This phone is fast, I mean just getting 3-6 down is awesome for any internet use. Whenever I mention this to my father: "Pretty good? I remember when the fastest internet connection our family could muster was 512kbps down through dial-up." So yeah it is "pretty good" haha

This is why 4G is a bit of a gimmick at the moment. Who needs more than 20meg download on a phone when the average home broadband speed is less than 10meg in the UK!?
