8X problem with mobile internet

Hi guys,
I've had my 8X for a few weeks now and I've managed to get over the dirty corners but another issue is bugging me. If I unlock my phone after a few hours or after being on the subway I often have a problem which is that using an existing internet explorer tab doesn't let me use 3G. I have to close the existing tabs and open a new one to get any 3G connection. otherwise the page just instantly refuses to load. Seems like something that should be easy to fix - any ideas?

I have a 8X too. I have never had this problem. First time heard about such problem
