So this is something that happens seldom on my phone; when unlocking it or just swiping around, the icons from the apps disappear and they become just square boxes with my theme color. If problem persists and I have to time to move to the app list, the apps have the default star-like icon.
Sometimes it takes around 3 seconds to show their respective icons but there was only one time when I had to reboot my phone because it didn't fix itself. This is when I feel it so inferior and cheap.
