Why do my picture sizes decrease when I send a picture from Viber HTC M8-Windows?

Viber HTC M8-Windows

On my HTC M8-Windows. When i send a pic via viber from my camera roll, the the pic size decreases when the receiver get its. while a pic captured directly from viber camera is normal once sent .Please advise what can be the issue

There may be no issue at all and that you have just given the solution to your concern.

It's a possible case of data-savings in treating attachments as opposed to files generated directly from Viber - most apps handle image uploads in the same fashion. The solution, therefore as you mentioned, is to use the camera in Viber should you wish to send higher quality photos.
