I recently bought an HTC Titan in Belgium and I'm surprised to find that I don't have an option for voice guidance in Bing maps. All my language settings are on English (US) but still I don?t have an option 'Read directions aloud when tapping' in Settings > Maps. Does anyone know why this could be? Does it have to do with the fact that it is an international version of the titan? I do have a local scout option in bing (even though it doesn't seem to find any POI's here in Belgium) and I thought that was US only too.
As for the version numbers, I have:
OS version: 7.10.7720.68
Firmware revision number: 1600.2200.10902.401
Hardware revision number: 0002
I absolutely love the windows phone OS but it really makes me sad that there is so little support outside the US. Even basic things like showing the artist image on the lock screen don?t work, apparently since we don?t have a music marketplace, even though all my music is properly tagged in the Zune desktop software.
