Why i can't open HTTPS sites on my IE11

Hi, today while talking about the new windwos on dinner with my family, my father said "Chrome currently is the best browser ever, because IE can't open BANKS sites" I didn't know what to tell him, I want your help.
Why? and How?

Well - I use multiple bank sites both for work and personal banking everyday and I use ie 11, I've never had a problem. Why not just login to one and show him...

he can't login, every time he does it...., I don't know but he said it isn't working, not for him for all his friends at work too

I can access secure HTTPS sites just fine in IE11. It's probably just his browser settings. Have a look at this article below and see all 4 methods under the replies. Especially check Compatibility view and Add the Websites to security zone. Good luck. :smile:
