Try mo idownload sa ibang site yun firmware, then paste mo sa programdata (same instructions as ncs), lalabas yun firmware kaagad sa nokia software updater pag di lumalabas nung una. Ganyan ginawa ko, gumana naman.

UPDATE: Done updating...took more than 1 hour...everything looks okay...data sense, fm radio, glance screen, double tap to wake, better camera, flip to silence, call + sms blocking, colour profile...i noticed low battery life but it might be due to upgrade. i will let the battery drain until it reached 20% and re-charge thru the night.

Why can't I buy apps in the marketplace if I am in the Philippines (adding a payment account defaults you to Singapore *#WTF). Pretty useless owning a WP8, masyadong restrictive, worse than Apple pagdating sa restrictions,

it uses your microsoft account for details, so if your account is set to singapore it will use singapore, AFAIK....thats why i set my microsoft account to US, so it shows all the apps

Nope. As far as I know, no carriers support the WP Store here in the Philippines.

Which is a real shame, since I wanted to drop at least 1000 pesos on apps.
On second thought, maybe it was for the better.

Nah, app devs come first! Ask Microsoft to try including the Philippines to support carrier billing.
