Why won't my Windows 10 login screen show?

This has just begun happening. When I turn my Windows 10 laptop on, it shows the beginning loading screen with the Windows icon with the spinning circle. It then shows the spinning circle on its own for a bit, then the Windows startup sound plays, and then the screen is just black with the cursor. I've waited over three hours.

Windows 10 came pre-installed on my laptop so I don't have an installation disk of any kind. I cannot access anything like Safe Mode.

Reboot the device > if this is still the case (black screen) > bring up task manager (ctrl alt del) > file > run new task > type in explorer.exe and hit enter/press ok

Should work. Mostly works for me
