Why did you choose the Lancet over the 735?

I have a friend who is interested in trying out windows (from an iPhone). I told him about the 735; with its wireless charging and great camera. However, the Lancet is $72 cheaper off-contract and has gotten nothing but positive reviews.

I want to hear from the people who bought the Lancet over the 735: Why?

I don't have either device. I don't have Verizon. I'm just looking on paper.

• Lancet has a much more limited radio - CDMA and LTE. The 735 has capability off the Vzw network. 735 is a world phone and Lancet is not going to run on any other network.
• Lancet does have a better SoC with SD 410 to 735 with SD 400
• 735 has double the internal storage at 16 GB to Lancet's 8 GB.
• Lancet has much lower screen resolution of 854x480 compared to 735 with 1280x720
• Lancet has more MP in the rear camera at 8 MP to 735 with 6.7 MP, but 735 gets Zeiss optics
• Lancet has low res VGA front camera and 735 has a full 5 MP shooter in front

From what I can see you give up too much on Lancet for the newer SoC. Looks like advantage 735 for a more complete all around package.

Actually it does, it just doesn't work as well as the other Lumias (settings under touch).
I had better luck with the LG knock knock.

Anyways I bought both and really like the Lumia over the LG but I kept the LG for backup because I refuse to carry insurance on my phones! I also dig the wireless charger for my Nokia.

Glance and double-tap-to-wake are two separate entities.

Glance is a passive clock option.
